We recommend that you change you money into: Latvian LAT (LS) here in Riga to get more for your Pound or Euro. Once you have checked into your hotel your guide will direct you to the nearest local exchange to change your money commission free and a better rate than any bank or Thomas Cook in the UK!!. Always change your money at the outlets we advise and never never change your money in the street. Bring GBP or Euro and change here for a far better rate than in the UK.
There are also plenty of cashpoint machines for you to use your creditcard or bank card to withdraw money from.
